Holden agrees to write a series of scientific articles on astronomical subjects. He asks who else will be doing articles, how many hundres of words per article, and the price. He will write on his work at the Lick Observatory and on solar eclipses including the California eclipse of 1889. In addition he asks for the correct address of Robert Louis Stevenson.
